In this week's service, we observed the sacrament of the Lord's Supper, and Pastor John took a break from 1 Thessalonians to preach from Exodus 17:1-7. The hymns for this week were "Holy, Holy, Holy," Psalm 105, "Before the Throne of God Above," "Amidst Us Our Beloved Stands," and our traditional post-communion "Benediction." The offertory was a setting of "When I Survey the Wondrous Cross," performed by the handbell ensemble.
