In the first week of our new Sunday School lecture series, Studying God, Dr. John Clayton begins with discussing why the study of God is an important, worthwhile endeavor.

This week's lesson highlighted some of the heresies that faced the early church concerning the doctrine of the Trinity and how the church responded to them, as well as how a right understanding of the Trinity helps us to build trust in God and develop fellowship with Him.

This week's study looks at God's attributes of independence, immutability, infinity, and unity.
