This week was our yearly Reformation Sunday service, and as usual, each of the songs in this week's service corresponded to the five "solas" of the Protestant Reformation in some way. Dr. John Clayton's sermon this week was "The Demanding Authority of Christ," part of our ongoing sermon series The Gospel of Matthew: Kingdom Come. This week's hymns were "Praise to the Lord, the Almighty," "Psalm 65 (verses 5-8), "Thy Works, Not Mine, O Christ," and "Jesus, I Come."

This week's service featured the sermon "Founded on the Rock," from Matthew 7:24-29, part of our sermon series The Gospel of Matthew: Kingdom Come. The hymns this week were "All Creatures of Our God and King," "Psalm 119 (verses 89-96)," "Amazing Grace!," and "Every Promise."

This week, we welcomed our friend Stephen Atkinson to preach from the pulpit. Rev. Atkinson is the North America Director of Ministry of Christian Witness to Israel, one of the ministries that our church supports. His sermon, "Solus Christus and Jewish Mission," was from Acts 4:1-14. The hymns for this week were "Christ Shall Have Dominion," "Psalm 147," "Beautiful Savior," and "We Rest on Thee."

This week's service featured Dr. John Clayton's sermon, "Living Graciously," from his sermon series The Gospel of Matthew: Kingdom Come. The hymns for this week were "Praise to the Lord, the Almighty," "O Thou That Hear'st When Sinners Cry," "Redeemed, How I Love to Proclaim It," and "Jesus, Thou Joy of Loving Hearts."

This week's service featured Dr. John Clayton's sermon, "The Rock of Our Salvation," from Exodus 17:1-7, as the church observed the sacrament of the Lord's Supper. The hymns for this week were "Rock of Ages (When the Day Seems Long," "Psalm 105 (verses 38-45)," "The Apostles' Creed," and "Rock of Ages, Cleft for Me."
