December 16, 2012 - What If God Was One of Us (Isaiah 7:10-14;Matthew 1:20-25)

This week's service included the sermon "The Prince of Peace," part of our yearly Advent observances. The hymns for this week were "Angels, from the Realms of Glory," "It Came upon the Midnight Clear," and "Psalm 85 (verses 1-3, 8-9).

This week was Trinity Sunday in the historical liturgical calendar, and Pastor John's sermon was from Isaiah 44:1-8. The hymns for this week were "Holy, Holy, Holy!," Psalm 110, "Hallelujah! Thine the Glory," and "Thy Mercy, My God." The choir sang the hymn "Come, Thou Almighty King" for the offertory.

This week, Pastor John Clayton preached the sermon "Gloriously Revealed," from Isaiah 44:24-28. The hymns for this week were "Join All the Glorious Names," Psalm 117, "O Christ, Our King, Creator, Lord," and "Jesus, Thou Joy of Loving Hearts." We also observed the Lord's Supper.
