This week, Dr. John Clayton preached the sermon "Rejoicing in Deliverance," from Exodus 18:8-12, as part of his series through Exodus that he preaches on Lord's Supper Sundays. The hymns for this week were "Psalm 100," "Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise," "The Apostles' Creed," and "At the Lamb's High Feast We Sing."

This week was our yearly Reformation Sunday service, and as usual, each of the songs in this week's service corresponded to the five "solas" of the Protestant Reformation in some way. Dr. John Clayton's sermon this week was "The Demanding Authority of Christ," part of our ongoing sermon series The Gospel of Matthew: Kingdom Come. This week's hymns were "Praise to the Lord, the Almighty," "Psalm 65 (verses 5-8), "Thy Works, Not Mine, O Christ," and "Jesus, I Come."
